The 2007 FIFA U.20 Men's World Cup Soccer tournament kicks off on June 30th. Canada, the host country, plays it's first match on July 1st, which is Canada Day.

Argentina was led to victory by none other than Diego Maradona in 1979.
Luis Figo, captain of the Germany 2006 side, let Portugal to victory in the U.20 tournament in 1991.
Thierry Henry's team from France lost in the 1997 quarterfinals. He also played on the winning senior team in France 1998 and the runner-up side in 2006.
Brazil's Ronaldinho played on the 1999 side that lost in the quarterfinals and was on the winning senior team in 2002 Korea/Japan. Kaka and Adriano led their U.20 Brazilian side to victory in 2001. Kaka was also on the winning 2002 side. Ronaldo, notably, does not appeared to have played for Brazil at the U.20 Tourney.
Saviola (2001) and Messi (2005) were members of the Argentinian side that lost in the quarter-finals of Germany 2006.
