Canada takes on Scotland in a pair of 'friendly' international soccer matches in preparation for the U20 Men's World Cup. The matches takes place on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Swanguard Stadium in Burnaby and on Tuesday, March 27th at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria.

The Olympic flag was stolen in the early morning hours from the flag post outside Vancouver City Hall. Luckily it was a replica of the Oslo flag, which has been handed from one winter games host to the next since the 1952 Oslo Winter Games.

The pools were drawn in Toronto for the 2007 Under 20 Men's FIFA World Cup. Host nation Canada will open by playing Chile on Canada Day (July 1) in Toronto.

The 2007 FIFA World Youth Championships for Men are coming to Canada this year. Twenty-four under-20 teams have qualified for the tournament and the pools will be determined tomorrow (March 3rd).
Six cities in Canada will host the soccer games - Victoria, Burnaby, Edmonton,
Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal - in Canada 2007, which opens on June
30th. Defending champion Argentina has qualified and will be
one of many teams vying to lift the trophy on July 22nd.
